As a Realtor in the Sierra Foothills, from Yosemite to Fresno, for 4 years, I still can't believe I get to live and work in such a wonderful place.
Raised on a farm just north of Portland, Oregon, I came to L.A. when I was 17, and have lived all over California from San Diego to the Bay Area, as well as New York and Connecticut. My husband and I are in our 15th home, so “real estate” has been a big part of our lives – buying low and selling high, usually. We have raised 2 children and have 3 grandchildren, who live in Oakhurst, and find the schools excellent.
We travel every chance we get, and we have been fortunate enough to get glimpses of most of the world. Other interests of mine are music, participation in music, interior design, entertaining, and watching the grandchildren play sports.
Other things I have done: business administrator for a large church in the Bay Area; general manager of 2 hotels, general manager of 2 swimming and tennis clubs; and other positions in the corporate world. I've finally discovered what I really like to do!

Susan grew up in the Mid-West in Cleveland, Ohio where she learned the values that continue to shape her life. Her parents taught her that the Golden Rule to treat everyone as she would like to be treated was not just an expression, but a way of life. She also learned that the most important thing she could do was to make her life a benefit to others.
Taking those values to heart, Susan set her sights on personnel work. She pursued her dream by attending Miami University and graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Susan and her husband, Lee, moved to California in 1967 where she worked in the electronics and publishing businesses. When her daughter Alison was born she began to realize the importance of raising children in a small town. She and Lee went to find a place that held their same values. They moved to Auberry, California in 1983.

I am a California native, born Los Angeles, and grew up in Manhattan Beach, CA. In addition to Southern California, I have also lived in Meinz, Germany; Long Island, New York (Long Beach, Lake Success, Belmont, Wheatley Heights); and Lake Worth in Palm Beach, Florida. I now reside in Oakhurst.
I began working in real estate in 2000 and earned my license in 2003. After a year in the Florida real estate market I returned home to the foothills of Central California in March 2008. Short sales and foreclosures are areas where I have successful experience.
Swimming has always been a big part of my life. I was a competitive swimmer from age 5 to age 22, and am a member of Manhattan Beach Swim Club, Aquamarine Swim Club, Lakewood Aquatic Club, and the Cypress Swim Team.

- Competed in 13 National A.A.U. Championship swim meets
- Ranked 2nd in the world 1970 in the 200 meter Individual Medley

- Competed on triathlon relays at Bass Lake & other California locations
In addition to competing, I enjoyed swim coaching at Aviation High School in Redondo Beach, CA, and at Half Hollow Hills High School, New York. I have taught public and private swim lessons, and worked as a lifeguard in both in California and New York.
Spending time with my 4 adult children and 3 grandbabies is very important to me. Other interests are water skiing, wake boarding, scuba diving, surfing, skate boarding, softball, synchronized swimming, and volleyball.

Throughout most of my real estate career, clients have asked if my father was in the business. The answer is “No”. My grandparents were Italian immigrants who settled here in the Central Valley in 1905. My Grandfather was a farmer and, in turn, my father farmed his entire life. Growing up with a farming background taught a work ethic beyond compare, a work ethic I apply to every aspect of my business.
