Throughout most of my real estate career, clients have asked if my father was in the business. The answer is “No”. My grandparents were Italian immigrants who settled here in the Central Valley in 1905. My Grandfather was a farmer and, in turn, my father farmed his entire life. Growing up with a farming background taught a work ethic beyond compare, a work ethic I apply to every aspect of my business.
I am proud to be a part of the Fresno community. Rod Aluisi Real Estate has a long history here in the Central Valley that began when I started my career in real estate at the age of 20. More than anything, I have always enjoyed helping people with the dream of home ownership. I truly enjoy what I do and get just as much fulfillment as my clients when negotiating and closing the “deal” to their satisfaction. My referral base is solid and the many friendships I have made through the years are invaluable. Each year brings a new sense of accomplishment and enjoyment.

As a Realtor in the Sierra Foothills, from Yosemite to Fresno, for 4 years, I still can't believe I get to live and work in such a wonderful place.
Raised on a farm just north of Portland, Oregon, I came to L.A. when I was 17, and have lived all over California from San Diego to the Bay Area, as well as New York and Connecticut. My husband and I are in our 15th home, so “real estate” has been a big part of our lives – buying low and selling high, usually. We have raised 2 children and have 3 grandchildren, who live in Oakhurst, and find the schools excellent.
We travel every chance we get, and we have been fortunate enough to get glimpses of most of the world. Other interests of mine are music, participation in music, interior design, entertaining, and watching the grandchildren play sports.
Other things I have done: business administrator for a large church in the Bay Area; general manager of 2 hotels, general manager of 2 swimming and tennis clubs; and other positions in the corporate world. I've finally discovered what I really like to do!

- Born in a small town called Del Norte, in southern Colorado
- Raised in Calimesa, Southern California, graduated from Yucaipa High School
- Married Travis in 1973
- Has two daughters and one granddaughter. Shoana is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Florida, studying Tropical Forestry, and Tia is studying for a degree in Paralegal and is the mother of Ashlin who is seven years old and Regan who is one year old.

- Served in many positions on several boards for The Officers Wives Clubs
- Was a founding board member for the Northeast Alabama AD Club
- Was a founding member and Past President of Coarsegold Kiwanis
- Past treasurer and board member for Coarsegold Chamber of Commerce
- Taught English to the governors cabinet in Kang Wan Do Province, South Korea
- Worked as a sales rep for Babco International in Korea and the South East U.S.
- Worked as a tax preparer in North Carolina and Seoul Korea
- Advertising Sales rep for WNAL TV, Gadsden Alabama
- Wireless Communications Sales Rep for General Telephone Company Anniston Alabama
In 1998, after retirement from the military we returned to California to be close to family. Employment brought us to Fresno and we chose to live in Coarsegold.
I earned my Real Estate License in November, 2000.
